Description: The body of the MAC layer standard definition of backoff algorithm for standardizing the largest index value, the default value is 15. This value shall be not less than commonBackoffMinimum value. The value of this object should be stored in non-volatile memory.
What is commonBackoffMaximumExponent?
The largest exponent value used by the MAC-layer backoff algorithm, defaulting to 15 and required to stay at or above commonBackoffMinimumExponent. It works together with the minimum exponent to control how far the device backs off contention windows under heavy collision load, and the value is stored in non-volatile memory.
