What is analogAlarmDeadband?

This read-write INTEGER sets a deadband margin around each configured alarm threshold for the analog parameter identified by analogParameterOID; the MIB's DESCRIPTION text is present but garbled by a character-encoding issue, so this reading is inferred from the object name and standard SCADA/EMS deadband conventions where a value must recover back past the threshold by this margin before the alarm clears. An admin sets this to prevent alarm chattering when a measurement hovers right at a threshold boundary, requiring a clear recovery margin before the alarm condition is cleared. Setting this to 2 on a threshold of 70 would illustratively mean the alarm doesn't clear until the reading drops back to 68 or below, preventing rapid alarm/clear flapping right at 70.
