OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.123.3.69.1.1.1.8

Description: Indicates the software bank which is current and active. The default value of NotApplicable(0) indicates the entity without software banks. On the other hand, if there is a failure to obtain this information, Unknown(257) is returned. For example, if a card is configured but not installed, Unknown(257) is returned.

What is nncNEInvAssemblyActiveSwBank?

This read-only value reports which software bank is currently active and running on this assembly; a default value of NotApplicable(0) means the entity has no software banks, while Unknown(257) is returned if this information can't be obtained, such as for a configured-but-not-installed card. Admins use it to see exactly which stored software image is currently running on a given card. For example, an admin verifying a firmware rollback would check this object to confirm the assembly is now actively running the expected earlier software bank rather than the newer one.
