Module: NMS-SERIAL

OID (symbolic): NMS-SERIAL::serialSessionTcpAction

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11606.10.9.193.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: write-only

Description: Serial session for TCP server parameters setting action. When set to 0,the value of SerialSessionTcpServerPort, SerialSessionTcpClientPort and SerialSessionTcpClientSvrAddr will be set together.

What is serialSessionTcpAction?

This write-only command applies the currently configured TCP server port, client port, and client server address together as a set when written with apply(0). Admins use it to atomically commit a group of related TCP session settings instead of having each take effect independently and possibly out of sync. For example, after setting serialSessionTcpServerPort, serialSessionTcpClientPort, and serialSessionTcpClientSvrAddr, writing serialSessionTcpAction to apply(0) makes all three take effect together.
