nniIfFlowControl
Module: NMS-EPON-OLT-NNI
OID (symbolic): NMS-EPON-OLT-NNI::nniIfFlowControl
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11606.10.101.8.1.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: OLT NNI port flowcontrol. Default value is disable(0).
What is nniIfFlowControl?
This value enables or disables 802.3x flow control on the OLT's NNI uplink port, with disable(0) as the default. Admins enable it when the upstream device also supports flow control, reducing packet loss during momentary congestion bursts on the uplink. For example, changing nniIfFlowControl from disable(0) to enable(1) lets the OLT send PAUSE frames upstream instead of silently dropping traffic during a burst.
