oltExpiryTime

Module: NMS-EPON-OLT-MULTICAST-FORWARD

OID (symbolic): NMS-EPON-OLT-MULTICAST-FORWARD::oltExpiryTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11606.10.101.4.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeTicks

Access: read-only

Description: The minimum amount of time remaining before this entry will be aged out. A value of 0 indicates that the entry is only present because igmpCacheSelf is true and that if the router left the group, this entry would be aged out immediately. Note that some implementations may process membership reports from the local system in the same way as reports from other hosts, so a value of 0 is not required.

What is oltExpiryTime?

This read-only TimeTicks object reports the minimum time remaining before this multicast forwarding entry ages out; a value of 0 can mean the entry is kept alive by the router's own membership rather than a timed subscriber join. An admin checks this on dynamic entries to see how soon an IGMP-learned multicast forwarding state will expire if no further membership reports are received. A low or zero value on a dynamic entry warns the admin that forwarding for that group to that ONU will stop soon unless a new IGMP join is received.
