nmcCfgNumWanRetries
Module: NMC-MIB
OID (symbolic): NMC-MIB::nmcCfgNumWanRetries
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.429.1.2.1.10
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This will specify the number of attempts to be made by port_write_task() to send the packet out of the WAN port while doing a dial up connection. The default is 0 which means the number of retries is disabled and it will keep trying to transmit the same packet for ever until it succeeds.
What is nmcCfgNumWanRetries?
Number of retransmit attempts for a packet queued out the WAN dial-up port; 0 (the default) means retry forever until it succeeds, so raising this bounds how long the NMC keeps trying before giving up.
