hrSystemDate

Module: NETSERVER-MIB

OID (symbolic): NETSERVER-MIB::hrSystemDate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DateAndTime

Access: read-write

Description: The host's notion of the local date and time of day.

What is hrSystemDate?

The host's own notion of the current local date and time of day, readable and settable via SNMP. Admins use it to verify the server's clock is in sync with other systems, since drift here can cause confusing timestamps in logs and backup records elsewhere in this MIB, e.g. hrFSLastFullBackupDate.

Examples

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NETSERVER-MIB::hrSystemDate.1
