Module: NETSCREEN-VR-MIB
OID (symbolic): NETSCREEN-VR-MIB::vrId
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.18.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Id for the VR. It will be used in all other private MIBs so that cross reference can be made.
What is vrId?
This object holds the numeric ID assigned to a virtual router (VR), used as the cross-reference key in all other NetScreen private MIBs to identify that same VR. Admins and management systems use this ID to correlate routing data for a specific VR across multiple different MIB tables. For example, vrId returning 2 would let a management system match routing entries in other tables tagged with VR ID 2 back to this specific virtual router.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.18.1.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NETSCREEN-VR-MIB::vrId
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.18.1.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NETSCREEN-VR-MIB::vrId.1
