OID (symbolic): NETSCREEN-CHASSIS-MIB::nsPowerStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.21.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: A 32-bit integer uniquely identifying the power supply module's status: 0. Fail 1. Good 2. Not installed

What is nsPowerStatus?

This object reports the health status of a power supply module: 0 for fail, 1 for good, or 2 for not installed. Admins monitor this to catch a failed or missing power supply before it leads to a full power loss, especially in chassis with redundant supplies. For example, nsPowerStatus reporting 0 on one of two redundant supplies would prompt urgent replacement before the second supply becomes a single point of failure.
