What is nsPowerId?

This object uniquely identifies a specific power supply module in the chassis, with the valid ID range varying by platform: 1 through 3 on a NetScreen-5400 and 1 through 2 on a NetScreen-5200. Admins use it to distinguish between multiple power supplies when reading their individual status. For example, nsPowerId reporting 2 on a 5400 chassis identifies the second of that model's three power supply bays.
