Module: NETGEAR-SWITCHING-MIB

OID (symbolic): NETGEAR-SWITCHING-MIB::agentSwitchSnoopingIntfFastLeaveAdminMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.11.1.2.8.7.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This enables or disables IGMP Snooping on the selected interface.

What is agentSwitchSnoopingIntfFastLeaveAdminMode?

This enable(1)/disable(2) flag (default disable) turns IGMP fast-leave processing on for this interface, immediately removing a port from a multicast group on receiving a leave message instead of waiting out the normal query/timeout cycle. Note the MIB's own DESCRIPTION text ('enables or disables IGMP Snooping on the selected interface') appears copy-pasted from the plain agentSwitchSnoopingIntfAdminMode object; based on this object's actual name, it governs fast-leave behavior specifically, useful on ports with only one receiver where waiting for the leave-latency timer isn't needed.
