Module: NETGEAR-OUTBOUNDTELNET-PRIVATE-MIB

OID (symbolic): NETGEAR-OUTBOUNDTELNET-PRIVATE-MIB::agentOutboundTelnetTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.11.19.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The login inactivity timeout value for Outbound Telnet.

What is agentOutboundTelnetTimeout?

This object sets how long an outbound Telnet session initiated by the switch can sit idle before it is automatically disconnected, with 0 meaning no inactivity timeout is enforced at all. An admin sets a nonzero value to automatically close abandoned outbound Telnet sessions and free up the connection slots counted against agentOutboundTelnetMaxNoOfSessions. For example, setting agentOutboundTelnetTimeout to 30 causes an idle outbound Telnet session to automatically disconnect after 30 units of inactivity time elapse, replacing the default of 0 that otherwise lets such sessions stay open indefinitely.
