agentGreenEeeTxIdleTime

Module: NETGEAR-GREENETHERNET-PRIVATE-MIB

OID (symbolic): NETGEAR-GREENETHERNET-PRIVATE-MIB::agentGreenEeeTxIdleTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.55.1.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Time for which condition to move to LPI state is satisfied, at the end of which MAC TX transitions to LPI state. The value of this object must be a positive integer in the range from 600 to 4294967295.

What is agentGreenEeeTxIdleTime?

This read-write Unsigned32 value sets how long the transmit-idle condition must hold before the MAC transitions into the EEE Low Power Idle (LPI) state, and per the description must be a positive integer between 600 and 4294967295. Adjusting it controls how aggressively a port drops into the power-saving LPI state during quiet periods versus staying ready to transmit immediately. For example, setting a low idle time makes a lightly-used uplink enter LPI quickly after each burst of traffic ends.
