Conceptual rows having the value 'permanent' need not allow write-access to any columnar objects in the row.
The value of this object should be consistent across all nsVacmAccessEntries corresponding to a single row of the vacmAccessTable.
What is nsVacmStorageType?
This object indicates how this net-snmp VACM access-control row is stored on the device, for instance whether the configuration persists across a restart (nonVolatile) or would be lost, following the standard SNMP StorageType convention. Administrators check this to know whether an access-control rule they configured will survive a device reboot without needing to be reapplied. For example, seeing this object report nonVolatile(3) confirms the access rule will still be in place after the SNMP agent restarts.
