For modeB, only the faulty member will take action.
What is nbsRedundGroupCfgModeAdmin?
This object sets a redundancy group's desired failover mode: notSupported, modeA (all members act together when one faults), or modeB (only the faulty member takes action), with a default of modeB. An admin managing a Y-cable group where any member fault should trigger a synchronized group-wide switchover would set this to modeA(2). Leaving it at the default modeB(3) instead lets individual member ports fail over independently without affecting their group peers.
