planPtrn
Module: NAT
OID (symbolic): NAT::planPtrn
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.86.2.4.3.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
What is planPtrn?
This MIB has no DESCRIPTION anywhere, so this reading is inferred from the OCTET STRING syntax and its role in the planTable index. It holds the byte pattern that a frame must match at planOffset for planLength bytes in order to be forwarded rather than dropped. An admin would populate this with a signature identifying legitimate traffic that must always be allowed through the bridge.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.86.2.4.3.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NAT::planPtrn
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.86.2.4.3.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NAT::planPtrn.1
