natIcmpDefIdleTimeout

Module: NAT-MIB

OID (symbolic): NAT-MIB::natIcmpDefIdleTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.123.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The default ICMP idle timeout parameter.

If the agent is capable of storing non-volatile configuration, then the value of this object must be

restored after a reinitialization of the management system. Deprecated in favor of NATV2-MIB.

What is natIcmpDefIdleTimeout?

Default idle timeout, in seconds, for ICMP-based NAT bindings (e.g. ping echo/reply translations), defaulting to 300 seconds. Lower it if you need translation table slots to free up faster after diagnostic ping traffic stops; deprecated in favor of NATV2-MIB.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NAT-MIB::natIcmpDefIdleTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.123.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NAT-MIB::natIcmpDefIdleTimeout.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.123.1.1.3.1 i <value>
