myVlanPortAllowedVlanList
Module: MY-VLAN-MIB
OID (symbolic): MY-VLAN-MIB::myVlanPortAllowedVlanList
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.97.2.9.1.6.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: VlanList
Access: read-write
Description: Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight vlans, with the first octet specifying vlans 0 through 7, the second octet specifying vlans 8 through 15, etc. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered vlan, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered vlan. Thus, each vlan of the bridge is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of '1', then that vlan is included in the set of vlans; the vlan is not included if its bit has a value of '0'
What is myVlanPortAllowedVlanList?
This read-write VlanList bitmap specifies which VLANs are allowed to pass over a given trunk port, with each bit in the octet string representing one VLAN (the first octet covering VLANs 0-7, the second 8-15, and so on). An admin uses it to restrict a trunk to carrying only specific VLANs, with a bit value of 1 including that VLAN and 0 excluding it. For example, setting bit 0 of the first octet to 1 while leaving other bits 0 would restrict the trunk to carrying only VLAN 0's tagged traffic.
