Module: MY-PRIVATE-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): MY-PRIVATE-VLAN-MIB::mypvlanSVIMappingPrimarySVI

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.97.2.44.1.3.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: VlanIndexOrZero

Access: read-write

Description: The Vlan ID of the primary VLAN SVI this secondary VLAN is mapped to for the Private VLAN feature. This object has the value of zero if this secondary VLAN is not mapped to any primary VLAN SVI.

What is mypvlanSVIMappingPrimarySVI?

This read-write object maps a secondary VLAN's Switch Virtual Interface to the primary VLAN's SVI, letting Layer 3 traffic for the secondary VLAN be routed through the primary VLAN's interface; a value of zero means no such mapping exists. Admins configure it so that isolated and community VLANs, which typically don't have their own routable SVI, can still route traffic using the primary VLAN's Layer 3 interface. Setting mypvlanSVIMappingPrimarySVI to 100 for secondary VLAN 201 routes that isolated VLAN's Layer 3 traffic through primary VLAN 100's SVI rather than requiring a separate routed interface.
