Description: The Private VLAN port mode on this port.

nonPrivateVlan(1) -- this port is configured to be a non-Private-VLAN port.

host(2) -- this port is configured to be a Private-VLAN host port, i.e., private port.

promiscuous(3) -- this port is configured to be a Private-VLAN promiscuous port.

What is mypvlanPortMode?

This read-write object sets a port's role within the Private VLAN feature: nonPrivateVlan for a regular port, host for a private VLAN host, isolated or community-facing, port, or promiscuous for a port that can reach all associated secondary VLANs. Admins choose promiscuous for uplink or gateway ports that need visibility into all secondary VLANs under a primary, and host for end-station ports that should stay isolated from each other. Setting mypvlanPortMode to host(2) on an access port and configuring its primary and secondary VLAN via mypvlanPrivatePortPrimaryVlan and mypvlanPrivatePortSecondaryVlan makes that port a private VLAN host port serving one isolated segment.
