Description: The value used by the Port Transmit state machine to limit the maximum transmission rate.

What is swMSTPStpTxHoldCount?

This read-write value (1-10) caps how many BPDUs the Port Transmit state machine can send per hello-time interval, limiting the bridge's maximum BPDU transmission rate. Admins lower this on constrained links to reduce control-plane load, though it can slow convergence during heavy topology churn.
