What is mplsTunnelPerfPackets?

This counter reports the total number of packets that have been forwarded through an MPLS tunnel. It measures traffic volume carried by the tunnel as a 32-bit value (with a companion 64-bit high-capacity counter for higher values). An operator uses this to monitor tunnel utilization and detect changes in traffic patterns.
