Module: MODULES-MIB

OID (symbolic): MODULES-MIB::tokPortSpeedDetect

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.13.3.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This attribute enables the speed detection mechanism on a port level.

What is tokPortSpeedDetect?

Enables automatic ring-speed detection for this individual port, the per-port counterpart to the module-wide tokGroupLobeSpeedDetect and tokGroupStarSpeedDetect; an admin turns it on(1) so a station attaching to this specific port is automatically matched to the ring's actual speed.
