itrLinkControlSignalsMode
Module: MODULES-MIB
OID (symbolic): MODULES-MIB::itrLinkControlSignalsMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.81.21.3.2.1.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The value of this attribute determines the control signals (RTS,CTS, CD) mode while working with a MODEM, either in synchronous or asynchronous mode. When the Control Signals Mode is disabled, there is no flow control with the MODEM.
What is itrLinkControlSignalsMode?
Enables or disables hardware control-signal handshaking (RTS, CTS, CD) between this link and an attached modem, in either sync or async mode; an admin disables it only when working with equipment that doesn't use or support these control lines, since disabling removes modem flow control.
