ripIpRouteState

Module: MIB-INTEL-RIP

OID (symbolic): MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.39.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The current state of the route.

What is ripIpRouteState?

Indicates and controls the current state of this RIP route entry, active or inactive. Admins can use it to manually deactivate a specific learned route without removing RIP configuration entirely, for example to temporarily stop using a problematic path. Setting this to inactive(2) would take that specific route out of use while still leaving the entry visible in the table.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.39.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteState.1
