OID (symbolic): MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteInst

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.39.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Routing table instance number.

What is ripIpRouteInst?

Identifies the routing table instance number associated with this RIP route entry. Admins use it on devices supporting multiple routing table instances, such as for VRF-like separation, to know which instance a given route belongs to. A nonzero instance number here would indicate the route belongs to a specific non-default routing table instance rather than the main table.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.39.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteInst

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.39.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> MIB-INTEL-RIP::ripIpRouteInst.1
