For L3 IB interfaces, this field will display the local identifier (lid) of the subnet. In other cases: 0 will be displayed.
What is mellanoxIfVPIIbLocalIdentifier?
On L3 interfaces of IB router systems, reports the InfiniBand local identifier (LID) assigned to that interface within its subnet; reports 0 elsewhere. Admins use the LID to trace this interface within the fabric's subnet manager topology.
