mefServiceBwpCfgPerformanceEnable

Module: MEF-UNI-EVC-MIB

OID (symbolic): MEF-UNI-EVC-MIB::mefServiceBwpCfgPerformanceEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.15007.2.2.1.4.3.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates whether a performance data set is configured for a specific bandwidth profile. This allows for only specific bandwidth profiles to be monitored if there are limitations in the ME-NE being accessed.

disablePerformanceDataSet(1) A performance data set is enabled for this bandwidth profile enablePerformanceDataSet(2) A performance data set is not enabled for this bandwidth profile.

What is mefServiceBwpCfgPerformanceEnable?

Turns bandwidth-profile-level performance counting on or off for this profile, letting an admin monitor only selected profiles when the device has limited monitoring capacity. Note: the source MIB's own enumeration text under each value is inconsistent with the value names -- it describes disablePerformanceDataSet(1) as enabling data collection and enablePerformanceDataSet(2) as not enabling it, which is almost certainly a copy-paste swap in the DESCRIPTION. Based on the enum names themselves and the object's own summary sentence, disablePerformanceDataSet(1) (the default) turns performance data collection off, and enablePerformanceDataSet(2) turns it on.
