Module: MARVELL-FIP-MIB

OID (symbolic): MARVELL-FIP-MIB::rlFipEnableScalar

Description: FIP Enable/Disable.

What is rlFipEnableScalar?

This read-write boolean turns FIP (FCoE Initialization Protocol) snooping on or off globally for the switch. Admins enable it on switches that sit between FCoE ENodes and FCoE Forwarders to have the switch snoop and secure the FIP handshake. For example, setting rlFipEnableScalar to false disables FIP snooping entirely, letting FCoE/FIP traffic pass without inspection.
