Access: read-only

Description: Indicates the direction which denotes higher load. If a resource is ascending, the load is higher when the resource is higher (e.g. incoming packets). If the resource is descending, the load is higher when the resource is lower (e.g. space on a temporary filesystem).

What is lsfNumericOrder?

This read-only field indicates whether higher values of this resource mean higher load, ascending(1), such as incoming packet count, or whether lower values mean higher load, descending(2), such as free space on a temp filesystem. LSF's scheduler needs this to correctly interpret whether a rising or falling value represents worsening load.
