lmpUnprotected
Module: LMP-MIB
OID (symbolic): LMP-MIB::lmpUnprotected
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.0.3
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description: This notification is generated when there is more than one control channel between LMP neighbors and the last redundant control channel has failed. If the remaining operational control channel fails, then there will be no more control channels between the pair of nodes and all the TE links between the pair of nodes, will go to degraded state. This notification should not be sent unless lmpUnprotectedNotificationsEnabled is set to true(1).
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' LMP-MIB::lmpUnprotected snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.0.3
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:61774->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (128899918) 14 days, 22:03:19.18 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: LMP-MIB::lmpUnprotected
