lmpGlobalLinkVerificationInterval

Module: LMP-MIB

OID (symbolic): LMP-MIB::lmpGlobalLinkVerificationInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates how often the link verification procedure is executed. The interval is in milliseconds. A value of 0 is used to indicate that the link verification procedure should not be executed. The interval specified in this object should be large enough to allow the verification procedure to be completed before the start of the next interval. Implementations should save the value of this object in persistent memory so that it survives restarts or reboot.

What is lmpGlobalLinkVerificationInterval?

How often, in milliseconds, the LMP link verification procedure runs across TE links; a value of 0 disables link verification entirely. Admins set this large enough that one verification pass finishes before the next one starts, balancing detection speed against the notification load verification can generate on large data-link counts.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.1.13
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LMP-MIB::lmpGlobalLinkVerificationInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.1.13.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LMP-MIB::lmpGlobalLinkVerificationInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.227.1.13.1 i <value>
