Module: LLDP-EXT-DOT1-MIB
OID (symbolic): LLDP-EXT-DOT1-MIB::lldpXdot1RemPortVlanId

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: The integer value used to identify the port's VLAN identifier associated with the remote system. if the remote system either does not know the PVID or does not support port-based VLAN operation, the value of lldpXdot1RemPortVlanId should be zero.
What is lldpXdot1RemPortVlanId?
This read-only integer reports the port VLAN identifier (PVID) advertised by a neighboring device on the far end of the given local port, with 0 meaning the remote system doesn't know or doesn't support port-based VLANs, per IEEE 802.1AB-2005 F.2.1. Admins use this to verify that the native VLAN configured on a neighbor's switch port matches what's expected, catching VLAN mismatches across a trunk link. A remote value of 20 while the local PVID is 10 would flag a VLAN mismatch between the two connected switches.
