lldpXdot1ConfigVlanNameTxEnable
Module: LLDP-EXT-DOT1-MIB
OID (symbolic): LLDP-EXT-DOT1-MIB::lldpXdot1ConfigVlanNameTxEnable
OID (numeric): 1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.5.32962.1.1.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The boolean value that indicates whether the corresponding Local System VLAN name instance will be transmitted on the port defined by the given lldpXdot1LocVlanNameEntry.
The value of this object must be restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.
What is lldpXdot1ConfigVlanNameTxEnable?
This read-write boolean, false by default, controls whether the local system's VLAN name instance associated with a given LLDP VLAN name table row is transmitted on the corresponding port, and must survive a reinitialization of the management system. Admins turn this on so LLDP-speaking neighbors can discover human-readable VLAN names, such as during network documentation or troubleshooting. Setting it to true(1) for a row tied to VLAN 100 would let LLDP advertise that VLAN's configured name out that port.
