What is lldpXdot1ConfigProtocolTxEnable?
This read-write boolean, false by default, controls whether the local system's Protocol Identity instance is transmitted via LLDP on the port defined by the associated protocol table row, and must be restored from non-volatile storage after re-initialization. Admins enable this so neighbors can discover which network protocols (e.g. Spanning Tree, VLAN protocols) are running on a port through LLDP rather than separate discovery. Setting it to true(1) would advertise that specific protocol identity in LLDP frames sent from that port.
