Description: The lldpXdot1ConfigPortVlanTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined port VLAN TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission capable port.
The value of this object must be restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.
What is lldpXdot1ConfigPortVlanTxEnable?
This read-write boolean, false by default, controls whether the IEEE 802.1 Port VLAN TLV is included in outgoing LLDP frames on a given port, and must be restored from non-volatile storage after a system reboot. An admin enables it when neighboring devices need to learn the port's VLAN ID (PVID) automatically via LLDP rather than through manual documentation. Setting it to true(1) on a trunk port would cause LLDP advertisements from that port to include the local PVID.
