lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag

Module: LIEBERT-GP-POWER-MIB

OID (symbolic): LIEBERT-GP-POWER-MIB::lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.5.2.2.1.19

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The present description of the Power Factor for the power source indicated by 'lgpPwrMeasurementPointId' in the corresponding row in the lgpPwrMeasurementPointTable. If Leading, the load is said to be capacitive and the phase of the current leads the voltage. If Lagging, the load is said to be inductive and the phase of the current lags the voltage.

What is lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag?

Describes whether the present power factor at this measurement point is leading (capacitive load, current phase ahead of voltage) or lagging (inductive load, current phase behind voltage). This tells an engineer the nature of the connected load, not just its magnitude of inefficiency.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.5.2.2.1.19
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LIEBERT-GP-POWER-MIB::lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.5.2.2.1.19.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LIEBERT-GP-POWER-MIB::lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lgpPwrMeasurementPointPowerFactorTag.1
