lgpFlexibleEntryUnsignedIntegerValue
Module: LIEBERT-GP-FLEXIBLE-MIB
OID (symbolic): LIEBERT-GP-FLEXIBLE-MIB::lgpFlexibleEntryUnsignedIntegerValue
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.9.30.1.20
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-write
Description: This is the data point value formatted as an unsigned integer. This column is populated only for numerical data points whose type does not require a signed value.
To convert this value to the units indicated in the units of measure columns (lgpFlexibleEntryUnitsOfMeasure or lgpFlexibleEntryUnitsOfMeasureEnum), divide this value by 10^n, where n is the value from the lgpFlexibleEntryDecimalPosition column.
For data points that are writable (as designated by the lgpFlexibleEntryAccessibility column), the inverse calculation must done. The desired value must be multiplied by 10^n before it is written to this column, where n is the value from the lgpFlexibleEntryDecimalPosition column.
What is lgpFlexibleEntryUnsignedIntegerValue?
This read-write Unsigned32 holds the raw, unscaled value of a flexible data point when its type does not require a signed number, again requiring division by 10 raised to the lgpFlexibleEntryDecimalPosition power to obtain the real value. Admins use this column instead of the string-based lgpFlexibleEntryValue when they need numeric access for automated polling or setpoint writes on unsigned-type data points. For example, a stored value of 725 with a decimal position of 1 corresponds to a scaled reading of 72.5, such as a humidity percentage.
