Access: read-only

Description: Indication of the current state of the event. If the state is 'active' then the condition currently exists. If the state is 'inactive' then the condition no longer exists (i.e. the situation causing the condition has cleared or been resolved). The behavior of some devices is to remove the condition from this table when the condition clears. The behavior of other devices is to leave the condition entry in the table until the condition is acknowledged ( see lgpConditionAcknowledged and lgpConditionAckReq).

What is lgpConditionCurrentState?

This INTEGER indicates whether the condition in this row is currently active(1) or inactive(2), where inactive means the underlying issue has cleared or been resolved. Some devices remove the row from the table entirely once it clears, while others keep the entry until it is also acknowledged, per lgpConditionAcknowledged and lgpConditionAckReq. For example, an admin polling this object and seeing it flip from active(1) to inactive(2) knows the fault condition itself has ended, even if the row still needs to be acknowledged before disappearing from the table.
