Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Event Reset Command. This command will reset all of the device's events. On some units, when an event is activated, a 'set' field is also marked and maintained even when the event has become inactive. The 'set' field is only cleared when the user clears it and the event is no longer active. This item will clear the 'set' field for all events that are not active.

What is lgpConditionControlEventReset?

This read-write INTEGER command object triggers a reset of all of the device's events when set to resetAll(2), clearing the 'set' field that some units keep marked for events even after they've become inactive; noAction(1) is the default no-op state. Admins use it to bulk-clear stale event flags on units that latch a 'set' indicator separately from the event's active/inactive state. For example, after resolving a batch of transient alarms an operator could write resetAll(2) to this object to clear all latched-but-inactive event flags in one operation.
