Description: A buffer holding a list of the last Ethernet manager specific alerts (traps), in an internal representation.
What is etAlertsBuffer?
This read-only opaque buffer stores a history of the most recent Ethernet-specific alert traps generated by the agent, in the vendor's internal format. An administrator or the vendor's management application reads it to review recent alert history without depending on trap delivery being reliable. It works alongside etResetBuffers, which can be used to clear this history once reviewed.
