Description: When LMGR session is active with PCRouter card through PCBus - this variable is by default enabled (1). It means that the Host (SNMP Agent) tries to link to the LRM with the Control Link (id = 0). If this MIB variable is disabled the Host tries to establish a session with the LRM through other links, and if succeeds, it doesn't try to capture link 0.

What is lanOpticsLMGRCaptCntrlLink?

This setting controls whether the host SNMP agent, when establishing an LRM session with a PCRouter card, preferentially tries to capture and use the primary control link (link 0) first, or is allowed to fall back to trying other available links without insisting on link 0 specifically. An administrator on legacy LanOptics bridge hardware would adjust this if the primary control link is unreliable or reserved for another purpose, letting the host establish its LRM session on an alternate link instead. With this feature enabled by default, the host will normally attempt to link to the LRM using control link 0 first before considering other options.
