Description: Time out period used for timing out most request/response control frame interactions. This is the time a Client has to issue a join request to a LES after a control direct VCC is established with a LES.
What is lesControlTimeOut?
This read-write value (10-300 seconds, default 120) sets how long most LES control request/response interactions, and specifically how long a client has to send its join request after establishing a control direct VCC, are allowed to take before timing out. An admin shortens this to fail LEC join attempts faster on a well-connected ELAN, or lengthens it for clients over a slower ATM path.
