smtpServerTimeout

Module: KEEPALIVED-MIB

OID (symbolic): KEEPALIVED-MIB::smtpServerTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9586.100.5.1.3.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: SMTP server connection timeout.

What is smtpServerTimeout?

The number of seconds keepalived waits for the SMTP server connection before giving up when sending a notification e-mail. Raising this helps on a slow or congested mail relay; too low a value can cause failover alert e-mails to be silently dropped.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9586.100.5.1.3.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> KEEPALIVED-MIB::smtpServerTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9586.100.5.1.3.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> KEEPALIVED-MIB::smtpServerTimeout.1
