Module: KASHYA-MIB
OID (symbolic): KASHYA-MIB::volumeName
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.21658.3.1.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
Description: Volume name.
What is volumeName?
This read-only OCTET STRING field, carried in a Kashya trap, gives the name of the storage volume that the event pertains to. Admins use it to pinpoint which specific replicated volume triggered the alert, which matters when a K-Box is protecting many volumes simultaneously. For example, this field might read 'vol_finance_db01', letting an admin immediately identify which protected volume the accompanying alert concerns.
