juniTsmPortProvisionedInterfaces

Module: Juniper-TSM-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-TSM-MIB::juniTsmPortProvisionedInterfaces

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.72.1.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Number of interfaces provisioned on the port. '-1' means all available interfaces. If port is static this value cannot be changed. If the number of provisioned interfaces is decreased it may require a lengthy 'draining' process to bring number of allocated interfaces into compliance.

What is juniTsmPortProvisionedInterfaces?

This read-write value sets how many interfaces are provisioned on this port, where -1 means all available interfaces, and this value cannot be changed on a static port; lowering it may require a lengthy draining process before the allocated interface count actually complies. An admin adjusts this to control how many tunnel interfaces a dynamic port makes available for use, keeping in mind that reducing it doesn't take effect instantly if interfaces are already in use. For example, lowering this object from 8000 to 4000 on a heavily used dynamic port would trigger a gradual draining process rather than an immediate reduction in active interfaces.
