juniSystemSubsystemBootReleaseFile

Module: Juniper-System-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-System-MIB::juniSystemSubsystemBootReleaseFile

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.2.1.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: The boot release file name for this subsystem, with extension '.rel'. If a file name is specified (a non-zero-length string), then this release file takes precedence over the system-wide boot release file (juniSystemBootReleaseFile) just for modules of the type specified by the subsystem name. On a set operation, if there is no file that matches the name specified, then an inconsistentValue error will be returned. Setting this object to a zero-length string deconfigures the subsystem-specific backup release file.

What is juniSystemSubsystemBootReleaseFile?

This names a boot release file that takes precedence over the system-wide boot release file, but only for modules belonging to this particular subsystem. Setting it to an empty string removes the subsystem-specific override, falling back to the system-wide file.
