juniSystemModuleBootReleaseFile

Module: Juniper-System-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-System-MIB::juniSystemModuleBootReleaseFile

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.2.1.3.5.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: The boot release file name for this slot, with extension '.rel'. If a file name is specified (not a zero-length string), then this release file takes precedence over the subsystem boot release file (juniSystemSubsystemBootReleaseFile) and the system-wide boot release file (juniSystemBootReleaseFile) for just the module in this slot.

Some module types (e.g., ERX SRP modules) don't allow this object to be set. On a set operation, if there is no file that matches the name specified, then an inconsistentValue error will be returned. Setting this object to a zero-length string deconfigures the slot-specific primary release file.

What is juniSystemModuleBootReleaseFile?

This names a boot release file that takes precedence over both the subsystem and system-wide release files, but only for the module in this specific slot; some module types (such as ERX SRP modules) don't allow it to be set. Setting it to an empty string removes the slot-specific override.
