juniSystemBootConfigFile

Module: Juniper-System-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-System-MIB::juniSystemBootConfigFile

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.2.1.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: The system-wide boot configuration file name. This object and the juniSystemBootConfigControl object set to file(0) or fileOnce(1) must be specified together in the same set request PDU. If juniSystemBootConfigControl is file(0), only file names with extension '.cnf' are allowed. If juniSystemBootConfigControl is fileOnce(1), only file names with extensions '.cnf' or '.scr' are allowed. On a set operation, if the extension is not appropriate or there is no file found with the name specified, then an error is returned. If juniSystemBootConfigControl is not set to file(0) or fileOnce(1) then a get operation for this object will return a zero-length string.

What is juniSystemBootConfigFile?

This names the configuration file the router loads on boot, and must be set together with juniSystemBootConfigControl when that object specifies 'file' or 'fileOnce'. The required file extension ('.cnf' or, for a one-time boot, also '.scr') depends on which boot-config-control mode is selected.
